DragonHouse MMA results

AKA had a great showing last night on Dragonhouse MMA in San Francisco. USH Fight Team’s Rizaldy Celi, Jr. returned to the cage to fight game and debuter Toby Fuentes (Dragonhouse MMA), The 112lb fight went back and forth w/ takedowns and submission attempts by both. Great fight by both Celi and Fuentes, but resulted in a draw by the CAMO judges. Team AKA fighter – Ivan Batinich made his debut and dominated Myron Smith (1-1) (Dragonhouse MMA) at 205lbs with over the head throws throughout the 3 rounds, and Batinich took the fight via unanimous decision. On the pro-MMA side, two of USH Fight Team’s seasoned fighters made a tremendous come back after a few years of lay off. Andrew “Turning Heads” Valladarez 125lbs finishes his opponent Christian Rios (MMA Gold) with a rear naked choke, 2nd submission of Valladarez’ career. Sam “The Ram” Spengler comes back after a 3 year layoff defeating Xavier Macay (El Nino Training Center) via unanimous decision. It was a great show with all of the local gyms in attendance.
